Flights Pressure

The pressure is on to reduce the cabin pressure in flights to the UK as it has been suggested that along with causing unecessary ear problems the dramatic changes in the atmosphere on desent is is causing concern for blood pressure levels.

A vague study monitored the pressure levels of passengers arriving at UK airports. The results of those completing longhaul flights varied considerably than those on shorter flights. The readings of travellers from the United Sated arriving on flights to Manchester demonstrated the difference between adjusting the cabin pressure during the final two hours of the flight.

Further details of this study have not been authorised and published.
